The year 2020 has, and will continue to, present all of us with a vastly different set of challenges. From a worldwide pandemic and national lockdown, to the recent Moody's downgrade.

At HUNT Properties we believe our team structure is best suited to adapt to this change in landscape.

Our company is a counterintuitive - Estate Agency - to its core. Firstly, as our motto of "We Simply Sell" suggests we are a sales-only company. Our belief is that by having a single focus and purpose, we can best service our customers.    

We have a division of labour; we have a listing division whose purpose is to accumulate the best properties at the correct value. An administrative division who keeps the machinery of the company operating efficiently. A marketing and branding division whose goal is to represent our brand and our clients' properties in the best light. And finally, we have a sales team whose sole focus is to conclude property sales.

We financially back our sales force by guaranteeing them a set income every month. This allows them to focus fully on their jobs - selling property.

We are a 'team first' company. The sales agents pool their commission and team incentives across all divisions of the company are awarded collectively. We highlight the teams' success only.

This wholistic approach goes further than just our team. We believe in working with our fellow agents and actively include them in the sales process of all our mandates.

This approach has paid dividends in 2019, our second full year of operation. We successfully concluded 102 transactions with a total rand value of R278 million. The area we operated in 2019, the greater Ballito area excluding Zimbali and its surrounding estates*, trades approximately R1.85 billion of property a year**.

The area has over 50 agencies including all the major international, national and regional brands. The fact that a start-up, with no major capital investment and a small team*** managed to accumulate 15% market share, shows that HUNT Properties has successfully made its mark on the Dolphin Coast.

* We began operating in Zimbali Coastal Resort in 2020 and have already concluded sales. We will be expanding further afield this year.
